Who we are

What this website collects
This website does not use analytics, advertising pixels, tracking cookies or third-party embeds. It stores one setting in your browser's local storage if you turn the animation off, so the choice is remembered. That setting never leaves your device.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may keep standard request logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and reliability under its own policies.
The enquiry form
When you send the form, we collect what you type: business name, website, your name, work email, type of business, monthly ad spend range, goals, timeline and your agreement to be contacted about the enquiry. We use it only to reply to you and to decide whether we are a fit. We do not add you to a mailing list and do not send marketing email.
Your answers are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare reports its region as Western North America and does not publish which data centre or country within that region holds it, so your answers may be stored in the United States or in Canada. Information stored in another country can be accessible to courts, law enforcement and national security authorities there.
After your answers are saved, the site emails Paul a notice with them through Brevo, an email delivery service (Sendinblue SAS, France), which processes it on our behalf. If the notice does not go out, a scheduled job on Cloudflare tries again a few times over about five hours, then stops until Paul resets it; your answers stay in the database either way.
To limit spam and repeated submissions, the form records a keyed hash of your IP address (made with a secret value) and the time of each submission. We do not store the IP address itself, and the hash is kept apart from your answers. These records are kept for one day, separately from enquiries, and deleted by the cleanup job (which runs every 15 minutes) once they are a day old.
The form's server logs record outcome codes only, such as "saved" or "rejected", never what you typed or your IP address.
Email sent to paul@blackreachmedia.com is routed by Cloudflare Email Routing and delivered to a mailbox hosted by Google (Gmail). We use what you send only to reply to you and, if we work together, to manage that work.
Service providers
Cloudflare (hosting, form database, email routing), Brevo (form email notices) and Google (mailbox) process information for us only to provide those services. We remain responsible for your information while they handle it.
How long we keep it
Form enquiries are kept for 12 months, which we define as 365 days after they arrive. A cleanup job that runs every 15 minutes then deletes them from the form database automatically. After deletion, Cloudflare's point-in-time recovery can still restore a deleted entry for up to 30 days (7 days on Cloudflare's free plan), after which it is gone.
Copies in the mailbox (the email notice and any email you send us) are not deleted automatically. Paul deletes enquiries that do not lead to work by hand, aiming to do so within the same 12 months. Client records are kept for as long as the engagement lasts plus any period required by law.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it by emailing paul@blackreachmedia.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection regulator.
Client advertising data
When we manage advertising for a client, we work inside the client's own Meta accounts under access they grant and can remove. How client and customer data is handled is set out in each client agreement.
Changes
We will update this notice when the site changes, for example if analytics or new service providers are added. The date below shows the latest version.
